Rethinking buying old Again ugh!!!!!

I love to buy used furniture and make it my own. The personlizing makes it feel more like mine. Yet I sit here at my sisters house for the night and have no comforts of home with me. Why you ask? Because I bought this beautiful pub table with 4 faux leather high chairs, did I mention it was beautiful and I only payed $30 for it. Well I just couldnt wait to put it in the kitchen, so right in it went. I washed it clean and scrubbed the gunk off, even the legs and sides real good with cleaner. This would prove to be no help the next night as we found a nasty cockroach in the kitchen...... yes you read that right a damn filthy roach. I have never in my life been so sick and since I have some really nasty neighbors living just over an arce away I had assumed with this heat it was just looking for water. Well this wasnt so because, the next night I killed two. Now panic has set in and I do mean panic scared to sleep or even to close my eyes and not just me my 13 yr old daughter refuses to go in her room by herself. We walk around constantly looking and searching and not to mention scared out of our damn minds. So today while the hubs was at work I took it upon myself to buy 4 boxes of bombs and there is 4 in each box (way to many for my small mobile home) but I was playing it safe, after all whats the worst that can happen....lol So here I sit not painting not enjoying my cozy little abode but rather watching old movies with my sister and listening to the men talk about the stupidest shit I have ever heard but enjoying the company anyways.

 Stay clean and always look at what you buy from strangers. I knew this was to good to be true.

A Little About Myself

I am the oldest of three sisters. I live in the smallest town ever in Arkansas and I still love it after all these years. When I was 16 I decided to get married my parents areed to this as long as I finished school and didnt get pregnant. They thought if all else fails "divorce" that I would still have my education and not have a kid to lug around. Well all else did fail and at 18 I was divorced. But get this I remarried the same man about 5 years later and life hasnt been better!!! When we were married the first time my parents helped us buy this dumpy little mobile home and when we got divorced I kept it, rented out and payed it off ! We still live in this very mobile home and of course remodling constantly. Why havent we upgraded you ask ? Well its simple We love it !!! Its payed for and everything else we have is payed for all we pay is our utilities and other little pleasures like a cell phone and satellite. This allows us to have fun sometimes alot of fun. On the weekends we are on the lake either with our jetskiis or fishing in the boat. Yes we have both and no we dont make payments on either. Payed cash bought used. No we dont have money we actually live from week to week. My husband is deslexic and well this means he has a hard time learning new things but he is the best father, husband, and provider. He works extremley hard in eveything he does. I on the other hand have always worked up until recently. Back on Valentines Day I had a class and after class heading home a girl ran a red light and t-boned the car I was in, 17 staples in my head and a shoulder  and back injury has rendered me almost useless somedays. So I am home bound for who knows how long. Did I mention the girl was texting on her damn phone and not paying any attention. I have a lawyer but everything medical comes out of my pocket and the insurance wont pay anything until I quit treating "WTH" well I guess I have no choice to make the best of it for now anyways. So during this much needed time at home I am going to revamp this old mobile home back to beauty it once was again!!! YES I am excited !!! And being new to the whole blog thing I didnt start out taken a ton of pictures but I did get some after I had already started :( sorry.  I am leaving you with a few pictures of my accident and the injurys i incurred ......

 Did I mention they cut my hair, my very long hair, but it is growing back quick already it is about 2 inches long lol

My dad has been the most influential person in my life. he worked hard and sometimes two jobs just to give my sisters and I everything, we had new four wheelers and a huge swimming pool and anything else you could imagine a kid wanting. He spoiled us and now we are all in our 30s he still runs to our every beckon call. He has had alot of downs in his life and it has never slowed him down not once at 32 he had his first heart bypass and has had a few since then. Now his liver is bad from all the meds he has been on for years but you will never know from being around him how bad his health really is, He is so strong.

So today we are going to the lake with jetskiis and of course we are cooking for him at the lake!!!

That's my crazy, funny and loving daddy!

I totally rocked it today! Helped my dad literally pull apart an old truck for scrap. Then I finished a project I have been working on for a few nights.

Trying to put together a camping trip coming up. Every year we take our jetskiis and camper to the lake for a few days for fun and relaxation. This year we are taking a few new friends with us and I am excited.

I have many projects gong at once so as soon as I have some free time I will get some before and after shots up for your pleasure Happy Blogging!!!!!!!!!!!

Some things are just hard to learn!!!  Wow the frustation on decisons sometimes. "LOL" I have always been a creative person and I love to paint ANYTHING and I do mean anything. I am just a poor country girl that loves to paint, fish and hunt among other things. I hope to give you a little insight to what this southern girl is all about!!

This is me in all my glory on a trip to Canton, TX which I loved and just cant wait to go back I found an amazing artist down there and her works of art blew me away!!!
