To hot to move :(

All weekend it has been a scorcher now this week is going to be way worse. News man says 109 give a degree or two. WOW I think I will stay inside and just not move.

One of my best friends daughters cooked an awesome meal for us this past Saturday, fried chicken, pea salad, homemade yeast rolls, green beans, and of course some white gravy, we all ate til we wouldn't move, then jumped in the hot tub until we were prunes. I loved every minute of it. I did do quite a bit of project this past week. The kitchen is almost done with the remodel. Pictures for that will be coming soon. I was able to score an awesome mahogany door at a cute little shop in a cute little town. I did finish one of the doors I found. Check it out......

I distressed the tar out of it before I added some color. I free handed the later part of family because i couldn't find the right size template I wanted. It may not be the prettiest but I love it.

I may have one to many projects going at once but i just don't know when to stop starting lol

I am Back !!!!

After moving out of our home for over a week, which was pure hell, we are home and back to somewhat of a routine. I already have several projects lined up and will be so much more careful to what I bring in our home. We may have over fumigated our home but I doubt anything will come back for a long long time. I tore the table and chairs completely apart every board and screw has been bleached and scrubbed and I am in the process of redoing the chair which are really stools. Our kitchen updating  is coming along nicely only a few more cabinets to go then all finished. Now I need to focus on getting this together for our annual 64 galore sale. A Stretch of highway over 100 miles of nothing but yard sales almost door to door its awesome but, it always seems to fall on the hottest day of the year which can sometimes workout to be an advantage cause people want to sale their crap fast and get back in the air conditioning!I usually go with the crowd but this year I am selling alot of stuff but I have the teenager and her Friends to run the sale while I go pickup more crap lol!!!!!!

A a not so good note I had to go back for my check up with the doctor and well I have some brain damage from the wreck mostly with my memory and my anxiety with getting in a vehicle especially smaller ones. We all drive big trucks mostly anyways well except for that terrifying day of the wreck uuuhhggggg.  So more doctors more tests and more and more stress.
